Good morning!
Good news....we made it to August! Bad news....the end of the summer is right around the corner. We have to stay motivated to keep reaching towards our fitness goals! No excuses, we can do this! There is no food worth eating that feels as good as when we look and feel our best! Here are some tips of the trade!!
1. Royalty Eating...
Breakfast - Go ahead and eat like a King! Have you biggest meal of the day right here.
Lunch - We don't want to embarrass ourselves, let's go ahead and have lunch like a Queen! Eating less than a King.
Dinner - We eat what's left over. Just kidding, but go ahead and have dinner like a Jester. Smallest meal of the day.
*The idea is that if we fill ourselves up in the morning. We'll be satisfied longer and therefore not eat as much during the day.
2. What you want is really NOT what you need
Craving Chocolate - Your body is lacking in Magnesium. What you should eat instead to satisfy that craving: Nuts, Seeds, Veggies, & Fruit
Sugar Craving - You body could be lacking in a few areas: Chromium, Carbon, Phosphorus, Sulphur, Tryptophan
Chromium: Broccoli, Grapes, Cheese, Chicken
Carbon: Fresh Fruits
Phosphorus: Chicken, Beef, Fatty Fish, Eggs, Dairy, Nuts, Veggies, Grains
Sulphur: Cranberries, Horseradish, Cabbage, Cauliflower
Tryptophan: Cheese, Raisins, Sweet Potato, Spinach
Craving Bread, Pasta, or Carbs - What you really need is Nitrogene. Fill up on High Protein Foods: Meat, Fatty Fish, Nuts, Beans, Chia Seeds
Oily Foods - You need Calcium. Have Organic Milk, Cheese, Green Leafy Veggies
Salt Craving - Grab a Snickers! Just kidding, just kidding, don't do that. I was just seeing if you were paying attention. You're lacking in Chloride Silicon. Have Fatty Fish, Goat Milk, Cashews, Nuts, Seeds
3. Sip with a Purpose

Slow Metabolism - Green Tea
Sleepless Nights and Insomnia - Chamomile Tea
Have a cold - Elder-flower Tea
Stressed out - Lemon Balm Tea
Nausea - Ginger Tea
Feeling Bloated - Peppermint Tea
4. Snacks To Burn That Fat Right Off!
Cinnamon Hot Peppers Grapefruit Watermelon Sweet Potato Eggs Coffee Vinegar Milk Beans Oatmeal
5. How to be like the Energizer Bunny??
*Eat these foods to boost your energy
Honey Apples Eggs Sweet Potato Salmon Oranges Bananas Oats Beans Spinach Yogurt Almonds
Noticing a trend? Some foods appear on both lists which would make them a double winner!! For those people who share my enthusiasm for efficiency...we like those double winners.
