The Worst!

Good morning!
I hope you had a great week!! I have a favor to ask of you. I'm building my business outside of Equinox so I am asking for referrals. As long as they are not members of Equinox I'm willing to come to their house or train them at a private gym in West Hollywood. If you refer someone to me I'll give you a free training session. If you're no longer a member of Equinox we can train at a park, your house, or a private gym. If you are a member of the club than you get a free session at Equinox. Now, on to the good stuff. We usually talk about the good....today we are going to talk about the BAD. What is the worst thing you can order at a restaurant? What is the worst way you can cook your food? You get the jest. Enjoy!
1. Worse thing you can order at a restaurant.
Buffalo Chicken Salad: Over 1,000 calories and over 70 grams of fat. Yikes!
French Toast & Bacon: Over 1,000 calories and over 1,700 milligrams of sodium.
Chicken Fajitas: 4,800 milligrams of sodium and over 1,000 calories. This one makes French Toast look like chump change.
Vegetarian Fried Rice: Sorry to all my vegetarians. This dish has over 2,200 milligrams of sodium and yes, over 1,000 calories.
Pasta in Carbonara Sauce: Over 100 grams of FAT!! Are you kidding me? Please don't eat this!
Deep Dish Pizza with Sausage: This one makes me sad. Over 2,000 calories, over 150 grams of fat, and over 4,900 milligrams of sodium. Now, that's if you eat the whole pizza!
Club Sandwich: This one is surprising but it still has over 1,500 calories & more than 3,000 milligrams of sodium.
Large French Fries: Over 1,300 calories & over 50 grams of fat.
4 Sliders: Just because they are petite doesn't make them better for you! More than 1,500 cal, 83 grams of fat, & over 4,000 milligrams of sodium.
2. Things to look out for.
*If you see the below on the menu....it is bad for you. Don't order foods that say:
Pan-fried
Sauteed
Battered
Breaded
Au gratin
Cheesy
Creamy
Buttered
Deep-fried
Bearnaise
Crispy
*These are all synonyms to high in fat & have lots of extra calories.
3. What you want!
*See these words on a menu...you're in the clear. These are much better choices than the above.
Grilled
Broiled
Toasted
Baked
Poached
Steamed
4. Other work-arounds when out to eat
Skip the combination platters and order off the a-la-cart menu.
Don't supersize, DOWNSIZE! Nothing wrong with that kiddie menu. Half the calories and I guarantee you'll be just as full without the guilt.
Leave the bread alone!!! If you can't handle bread on the table, ask the waiter to remove the basket. If you're starving and need an appetizer, order steamed broccoli instead, or any other veggie side.
5. Better your Pasta
Order whole-grain pasta instead. You can also get whole grain pasta at the grocery store!
Creamy sauces are bad news bears. Here are some better sauces to choose from: Red Clam Sauce, Marinara Sauce without Meat, Primavera Sauce without Cream, Marsala Sauce with Wine not Butter.
6. Better your Pizza
Skip the meat and pile on veggies.
Ask for extra sauce and half the cheese.
Make a rule: Two slice max. After you max out take the rest home.
