Best of the Best...For Dinner!

Good morning!

We have finally made it to dinner! As, i'm sure we all remember, we need to be eating dinner like a peasant (aka smallest meal of the day). A quick tip that always works for dinner: try using the small side plates instead of the big plates. This will keep your portion sizes down and having you filling up on smaller meals throughout the day. Lets begin!!

**Keep in mind this week that the foods are not ranked. All of these items are great to add to your evening meal.

1. Best Veggies for Dinner

  • Onions

  • Potatoes

  • Pickles

  • Spinach (I love making dinner salads and using baby spinach)

  • Broccoli

  • Bell Peppers

2. Red Meat for Dinner

  • Grass Fed Beef

  • Bison

  • Ostrich

  • Pork

3. If you're going to go the Seafood route for dinner

  • Halibut

  • Wild Caught Salmon

  • LIGHT Canned Tuna

  • Pacific Cod

4. Poultry and Eggs for Din Din

  • Turkey

  • Chicken

  • Eggs

5. Legumes and Beans for your dinner protein

  • Beans

  • Lentils

  • Peanut Butter

6. Your Top Grains

  • Sprouted Whole Grain Bread

  • Teff

  • Triticale

7. Dairy with your dish

  • Gruyere Cheese

  • 2% Greek Yogurt

  • 1% Organic Grass Fed Milk

8. Splice in some nuts and seeds

  • Chia Seeds

  • Shelled Pumpkin Seeds

  • Almonds

  • Cashews
