If you are Type A positive or negative than this is your week. Your lifestyle and diet can be impacted by your blood type. Maybe some of this will already apply to you!

1. Type A: The Diet Distinction
Type A's digest carbohydrates very well
A's struggle digesting animal protein and fat
Eating foods in it's natural state works very well for A's
The blood type diet will tremendously benefit the A's immune system.
2. A's & Stress
Blood Type A people are more sensitive to the stress hormone
Stress can cause belly fat and muscle loss
A's produce higher cortisol levels
Limiting alcohol, sugar, and caffeine is a good thing for this specific blood type
Stress in type A's can appear in a few ways: obsessive compulsive disorder, hypothyroidism, insulin resistance (Diabetes)
3. A's & Food
Eat smaller more frequent meals throughout the day
Don't skip meals
Eat breakfast!
Eat more protein earlier in the day
Make sure you really chew your food to help with digestion

All meats except chicken, cornish hens, and turkey
Most fish except salmon, cod, trout, and a few others

Kidney Beans
Cream of Wheat
Granola
Wheat Germ
Breads high in protein
English Muffins
Flour
Sweet Potatos
Peppers
Mushrooms
4. A's & Exercise
A's do better with mild manner exercise
They can do well with intense weight & aerobic training, but can also enhance stress levels rather than diminish them
Yoga, Tai Chi, & Meditation are great options for Type A's
