O's, eat this up, this one's for you!
If you are type O blood type, these key lifestyle and diet tips might be the trick to getting that physique success you've been searching for.
The science of this diet has to do with body chemistry. Depending on your blood type, certain foods react differently when you put them in your body.
1. Type O: The Diet Distinction
You have a different body characteristics and SHOULD eat differently than type A's or B's.
Because of your genetic make-up, you may be more prone to thyroid disorders and ulcers.
You digest animal fat and protein very well, unlike type A's who do not.
Conversely, because O's have such an easy time processing protein and animal fat, they do not breakdown carbohydrates well. Therefore, carbs for the O's can easily be converted into fat.
Grains for the O's can also cause inflammation (swelling) and negatively affect the immune system.
2. O's and Stress
You are the 'fight or flight' blood type so you can be very reactionary.
If you are tired, hungry, or depressed, you might tend to act in destructive ways.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol because they can enhance the 'fight or flight' chemicals in your brain.
Do something physical when you feel stressed, that is key for O's.
3. O's and Exercise
O's benefit tremendously from exercise!
O's need exercise for their brain just as much as they need it for the body.
Exercise regularly and you will feel better as a whole.
For O's, aerobic activity for 30-45 minutes four days a week is a must to keep you balanced.
4. O's and Food
Thrive on animal protein.
Gluten and whole wheat products will cause O's weight GAIN.
Because of thyroid dysfunction, O's can have metabolic problems.
High content of stomach acid which is good for protein breakdown.
