What's Your Blood Type: B's

We have talked about the A & O blood types thus far. If you missed your blood type you can locate it on past blog posts.

The theory is that eating for your blood type can significantly impact your weight and lifestyle. Certain blood types can process meats while others cannot, etc. Today we will explore the B's.

1. Type B: The Diet Distinction

  • Type B's thrive under different types of conditions.

  • Type B's do well with a mixture of an animal and plant based diet.

  • If you aren't in a dietary balance, type B's can feel the effect easily.

  • Can be more prone to lingering virus's such as lupus and MS.

  • Type B's are taller in stature than other blood types and tend to be more physically fit & mentally balanced. Go B's!

  • B's should consider staying away from chicken.

2. B's and Stress

  • B's have a difficult time coming back from stressful situations.

  • B's have a tendency to lose sleep and experience daytime fog when stressed.

  • Higher stress conditions in B's can lead to a greater risk for depression.

  • To recover from stress, B's do really well with visualization and mediation.

3. B's and Exercise

  • Type B's do best when they combine physical exercise with some sort of mental challenge.

  • Combined intense exercise with a mental component and a partner and you'll thrive.

  • Great exercises for B's: Hiking, Tennis, Golf, Cycling, etc.

4. B's and Food

  • Type B's need to be in balance with their diet.

  • Animal and plant based eating.

  • Best Foods:

  • Lamb

  • Mutton

  • Venison

  • Rabbit

  • Salmon

  • Halibut

  • Flounder

  • Trout

  • Cottage Cheese

  • Kefir

  • Milk

  • Goat Cheese

  • Olive Oil

  • Walnuts

  • Oatmeal

  • Rice

  • Ezekiel Bread

  • Green Leafy Veggies

  • Pineapple

  • Bananas

  • Grapes

  • Plums

  • Foods to Avoid:

  • Chicken

  • Cornish Hens

  • Duck

  • Pork

  • All Shellfish

  • American Cheese

  • String Cheese

  • Ice Cream

  • Blue Cheese

  • Canola Oil

  • Peanut Oil

  • Sesame Oil

  • Cashews

  • Peanuts

  • Pistacios

  • Sunflower Seeds

  • Beans

  • Lentils

  • Wheat

  • Bagels

  • Muffins

  • Tomatos
