And last but most certainly not least, we have the AB blood type. AB is the only blood type that is a result of co-mingling of an A and a B blood type person. All the other blood types are a result of evolution and environment so that makes the AB blood type person extra rare. In fact, less than 5% of the population of AB blood. So, let's get started!

1. Type AB: The Diet Distinction

  • AB's have a low level of stomach acid, therefore they should try to stick to a diet of seafood, tofu, dairy and green vegetables.

  • Smaller more frequent meals would be beneficial to the Type AB blood type.

  • Type AB's will metabolize food much more efficiently if you stay away from having starches and protein in the same meal.

2. AB's and Stress

  • AB's tend to be highly emotional.

  • Caffeine and alcohol should be avoided entirely in stressful situations.

  • Calming activities & intense exercise is good for coping with stressful situations.

  • AB's can overproduce adrenaline when stressed so anger and hostility can easily come to the surface.

3. AB's and Exercise

  • Exercising can keep the AB person balanced.

  • 3 days of aerobic activity and two days of yoga would be the ideal workout recipe for the AB individual.

4. AB's and Food

  • Big key of the AB diet is moderation.

  • AB's digestive system cannot handle too much meat.

  • Consuming too many veggies can throw off the AB's PH system in the body.
