Exercise has a trickle down effect that changes everything from anxiety levels, to tiredness, to even weight-loss. A consistent amount of, even, mild exercise can have a tremendous effect on the body and your health. So, let's get started...

1. On Fatigue

  • Sedentary people who start exercising regularly have reported feeling less sleepy during the day.

  • In fact, sedentary people have been found to have MORE energy after starting just a 20 minute exercise routine consistent.

  • Those who exercise on a regular basis already continue to report having more energy on days they workout.

2. On Anxiety

  • Studies have found anxiety and depression rates lower in physically active people.

  • Even a 15 minute walk has been linked to a boost in mood.

  • Exercise can also decrease stress rates.

  • When you exercise chemicals get released in the brain which is what causes stress and anxiety reduction.

  • If you're feeling blue...go ahead and take a walk outside. It's really works!!

3. On Weight

  • This is pretty obvious, but exercise is linked to weight loss....who would've thought??

  • People that workout on a regular basis also have lowered their risk for disease.

  • If you recently lost weight, keep up the exercise regime to keep the weight off.

  • Exercise is vital in creating a healthy resting metabolism. This is where you burn calories when you're sitting around watching tv.

  • The more muscle you have...the more calories you burn. That is why lean muscle is so important!

4. On Relationships

  • Grab a partner...exercise can help maintain happiness in a relationship.

  • Couples that achieve fitness goals together can improve the quality of their relationship.

  • Having a shared workout routine also help solidify your bond or can reignite that spark with your partner.

  • But, if you're not a marathon runner and your partner is....go support them and cheer them on! This can also be a really fun shared goal!

Have a fabulous weekend! See you next week.
