In-A-Pinch!

Okay, last week we talked about busy schedules. When you're 'In-A-Pinch' we need something to eat that's quick and easy to grab on the go. I want to piggy back of last week's topic. This week I want to give you the healthiest frozen meals on the market. I'm guilty of this too, sometimes I just need to plop something in the microwave that's quick, easy, and most of all delicious! Enjoy.

And these are in no particular order. All of these items are great alternatives when you're in a hurry and you don't have time to cook up a recipe.

1. Healthy Choice Power Bowels: Pesto & Egg White Scramble

  • The Facts: Only 190 calories, 6g of fat, 5g of fiber, and 12g of protein.

2. Kidfresh: Mighty Meaty Chicken Meatballs

  • The Facts: Not just for kids, although I do feed these to my son! A serving size only has 150 cal., 5g of carbs, and 12g of protein.

3. Healthier Way: Butternut Squash Veggie Noodles

  • The Facts: Only 50 cal., 0g of fat, 12g of carbs, and 1g of protein. Mix in some grilled veggies and Kidfresh chicken meatballs and you got yourself a super nutritious meal!

4. Zoni: Saucy Sweet Potato

  • The Facts: Entire meal has only 290 cal., 8g of fiber, and 9g of protein.

5. Beetnik: Lemon Chicken With Cauliflower Rice

  • The Facts: 150 cal. in entire meal, only 2.5g of fat, 3g of fiber, and a whopping 20g of protein!! Yeah 20g of protein!!!

6. Dr. Praeger's: Hearty Breakfast Bowl

  • The Facts: 270 cal., 12g of fat, and 12g of protein. Don't overlook this meal because of the fat content, it's loaded with protein!! A great breakfast to start your day.

7. Tribali Foods: Chipotle Chicken Patties

  • The Facts: Only 140 cal., 4g of fat, only 3g of carbs, and an impressive 22g of protein.

Okay, one meal for every day of the week. You have your grocery shopping list. If you need to replace a meal with a quick alternative, these are great choices that will help you stay on track with your fitness goals!
